Welsh Spreadable Launches at Lidl in the North West

Posted on 2nd May 2023

We are delighted to have launched our Welsh Spreadable into Lidl in the North West of England, as well as expanding our offering at an additional number of stores in North Wales.

Made using Welsh cream, British rapeseed oil and a touch of salt, the latest extension in the distribution of our deliciously smooth spreadable butter gives us presence in Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire. Creamy as can be and containing 100% natural ingredients, this is a product not to miss as it spreads straight from the fridge with ease.

With a fully recyclable tub and lid, and all raw materials sourced from Red Tractor Assured farms, this ensures that sustainable principles are adopted throughout the length of the food chain, from packaging to agricultural welfare.

Speaking of the news, Marketing Executive, Jake Stacey said:

“This is an exciting time for Castle Dairies, as the brand continues to grow off the back of our first ever TV advert. Our Welsh Spreadable is a real hit among our Welsh customers, so we are thrilled to extend the range of stores where they can buy it, as well as introducing it to Lidl customers across the border in England. Hopefully they will love it just as much, and that this is the start of more to come!

Our product range is already available at most major supermarkets across Wales. To find out where our Welsh Spreadable, Salted Welsh Butter, Unsalted Welsh Butter and Salted Welsh Butter with Halen Mon Sea Salt Crystals are stocked near you, you can do so by using our Store Finder.
