Keeping Busy At Home!

Now more than ever, we believe that it’s important to stay positive and stay busy whilst we’re at home. We think this is a great opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, be proactive about creating moments of happiness, discover old hobbies (and new ones!) and make time for our loved ones.
With all this time at home – what better way to spend it than making some delicious meals and treats for yourself and your loved ones to enjoy. If you have never baked or made many meals from scratch before, that’s ok, because we have put together some easy recipes for everyone to try at home!

Cooking has been found to be a positive intervention for helping relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety and other conditions, in that it can be a creative outlet. It has been found to boost self-esteem, and general wellbeing (National Institute of Health, 2018). It’s a way to channel energy, it can be used as a distraction, help build a skill, and a way to express emotions through a different medium.

So… if you’re feeling bored, glum or low, get those aprons on and ingredients out!
